What is the Best Top Gear Special ever?
Is it The Vietnam Special where Jeremy, James and Richard have to buy a set of wheels to get from the south of Vietnam to the north which is 1000 miles away? Or maybe The Polar Special, where in one of their most ambitious challenges, Jeremy, James and Richard attempt to race from Northern Canada to the North Pole, a 450-mile journey. The terrain in between is some of the toughest on earth, composed of mountains and jagged sea ice.
An argument can also be made for the more recent Burma Special, where Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are on a mission to build a bridge over the River Kwai in Thailand. But, in order to that must first drive across a country that has been largely closed to westerners for over 40 years.
